Day 02
the body she used to have
There is a particular grief that no one has named — the quiet mourning of a body you once inhabited without thinking. You are not vain for missing her. You are not ungrateful for what remains. You are allowed to grieve, even as you stand in the body you have now.
Reflect on this
What do you miss about your body from before? Let yourself say it plainly, without qualifying it.
What part of your body have you been unfair to — critical, dismissive, or simply unkind?
Is there anything — even something small — that you've started to appreciate about the body you're in now?
